Hoses
In general, a hose must be lightweight, flexible and resistant to abrasion. It must withstand ultraviolet rays, ozone and high temperatures. It must also withstand internal pressures, various substances and, possibly, negative pressures. Under pressure, it must remain flexible and still maintain its original dimensions.
It may also meet specific requirements, such as electrical conductivity or insulation as well as food applications, and meet international standards.
